Created by composer Richard Rodgers and librettist Oscar Hammerstein II, Oklahoma! premiered on Broadway in 1943 as the first collaboration between the celebrated duo. Set in the Oklahoma Territory at the turn of the 20th century, the story follows farmer Curly and farm girl Laurey amid romance and frontier life. Its integration of plot, music, and dance helped reshape American musical theatre, and the original Broadway run lasted 2,212 performances—a record at the time.

Audiences can look forward to enduring songs including “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin',” “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top,” “People Will Say We're in Love,” and “Oklahoma.” The musical also received a special Pulitzer Prize citation in 1944. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs varying by seat and availability.
